Give For Good is a donate-a-thon being offered by the Community Foundation starting at midnight on Tuesday May 2 and running all day on Tuesday. The Community Foundation will accept online donations for the McNeill Street Pumping Station Preservation Society during the day and then kick in a share of a “Lagniappe Fund” that will boost the amount received by the Preservation Society. Now that the Preservation Society is running the Shreveport Water Works Museum with donations, every little bit helps! The web site to use is www.giveforgoodnla.org, then use the search box to find McNeill Street Pumping Station Preservation Society. Donations are accepted online only. If you wish, you can follow the progress of the overall campaign on the same web site.
