Food Trucks At The Museum Is A Wrap

The Food Trucks At The Museum friend raiser was great! The party pulled in more than 500 visitors who obsessed over which food truck to visit (brats?, umm no, shrimp maybe, or maybe tamales?….), then they poured through the pumphouse to see the museum, which was “mission accomplished” on introducing the Shreveport Water Works Museum to new people. As usual, we heard from many that they “never knew this cool place was here”, but there are 500 fewer folks saying that now. The “small” silent auction turned out to be pretty big and drew lots of shoppers who finished off their visit listening to Ukulele Gumbo or PoBoy McCoy for a while. It was all a lot of fun, and we’re thinking about doing it again (after resting up).
